Véronique Tanghe

Hello, I'm Véronique Tanghe, 41 years old. I live in Belgium in a small village called Stalhille together with my husband, my 18 years old daughter Shana, our dog Cyra and all our other animals.

I love the sweet and beautiful things of life, which I try to reflex in my creations. Working with clay gives me a relaxed and devine feeling and that is just the thing a human needs.

17 years ago I started to create dolls in airdrying Formo Clay and porcelain. Later on in 1999 I started my own studio in De Haan (a small village along the Belgian coast) where I teach people in dollmaking and since four years I teach Art Clay Silver jewellery. At the studio you can find all kind of doll products and Art Clay silver clay and tools.



I like creating and teaching a lot. It gives you a lot of satisfaction and respect and what I liked the most is the look of happiness on the students faces when they have finished their own creation.

While I was creating dolls I got an idea to create jewellery of porcelain clay in combination with silver. End of 2004 I discovered the Art Clay Silver. As there was no trace yet of ArtClay in Belgium I followed the certification course level 1 and 2 in the UK and became a Senior Art Clay instructor.













I prefer to create comtemporary doll creations out of Limoges porcelain clay. After firing I paint them with Van Gogh waterpaint. I like colourfull pieces, and yes, I get my inspirations from "Cirque du Soleil".
