Miet Steegen

I’m Miet Steegen and I live in Diepenbeek, Limburg. Years ago, I started modelling dolls in self-hardening clay.









Later, I changed clay and since 1994 I make newborn babies out of Modelene. They are handmade, so every baby is unique. I use glass blown eyes and mohair, and I colour the skin like a real baby skin.
