Dear doll lovers,


Here's a little description on how it all started for me.

In 1981 I started taking painting courses, and I've painted since then for about 6 years. But then I took some classes on how to sculpt a clay doll and was so proud to present my first little clown. Then I started sculpting caracter dolls and trolls and participated a doll show from Niesje Wolters. Making the presentation with my handmade dolls was so much fun and all of my family came to watch, I also got to know many doll artists.





About 17 years ago I took some classes on how to make moulds and how to work with porcelain. At the very beginning, the dolls I made were quite large, about 80 cm. But since a while, they end up mesuring about 35 to 50 cm.
I did a lot of doll fairs in the US, Russia (Moskou) and Germany and for the moment you can see my dolls in a gallery in Moskou.

Now I'm learning to sculpt in paper clay, it's different to work with. I'm also planning on showing my dolls at a doll fair. But that won't be for the near future, at the moment I haven't planned on participating a doll show yet.
