I’ve always had a creative streak . After leaving secondary school, I studied 'occupational therapy' to combine social work and creativity .
After the birth of my third child, I decided to quit my job, partly to help my husband who worked freelance, but also to be with my family .
11 years ago, after being amazed by the wonderful dolls in a local shop, I decided that I would like to learn how to make dolls.
While visiting a doll fair in Brussels, I found someone who could teach me how to sculpt dolls using Formo paste. But I was dreaming of porcelain. I believe porcelain is like a diamond compared to a zircon . It is a luxurious magical material, untemporal and yet compliant.
Once my children grew up, I had time to learn how to master the technique of porcelain and the hand manufacture of the moulds.
I make my dolls in three sizes 55,45,and 35 cm .
I'm still helping my husband, that's why I have a little production of dolls, each made in only three different models.
Now, I'm making a doll entirely in porcelain.
Every day I try to improve myself. This is what keeps me going and make me dream .....
